The PADI Discover Snorkeling experience introduces people to the underwater world. This experience focuses on providing guidance and assistance while participants explore.

Course Prerequisites

1. *Fill out the necessary paperwork
   

2. *No age limitation
   

Required Equipment

Each student must have their own:

1. *Mask
   

2. *Snorkel
   

3. *Fins
   

4. *Boots (if appropriate for fins)
   

5. *Appropriate exposure suit
   

Required Materials

1. *None
   

Course Overview

This experience can take place in a swimming pool or in open water. We will cover basics of snorkeling - fitting gear, breathing underwater, clearing water out of the snorkel and mask, defogging the mask. We will also lead participants on a tour of the area and assist as needed.

Course Tuition

$50 for first participant, $25 per person after that.
