The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program introduces people to scuba diving in a highly supervised and relaxed manner. It dispels common misconceptions about scuba by letting individuals try it for themselves. Divers learn basic safety concepts, put on equipment and swim around underwater in a closely supervised environment.

Course Prerequisites

1. *Be at least 10 years old
   

2. *Fill out the necessary paperwork
   

Required Equipment

We will provide all equipment. However, you may find it more comfortable if you have your own:

1. *Mask
   

2. *Snorkel
   

3. *Fins
   

4. *Boots (if appropriate for fins)
   

5. *Appropriate exposure suit
   

Required Materials

1. *None
   

Course Overview

This course can be held in any swimming pool. We will start by teaching the students how to snorkel  and skin dive. We will then teach participants the basics of scuba diving, safety rules and it’s time to dive.

Course Tuition

$50 per person or $200 for up to 5 participants. Price includes all equipment, materials and a 2 hour pool session.
